New bracket for a Tiger 1200 with electric adjustable suspention

Creating a new bracket for a Tiger 1200 with electric adjustable suspention

I'm Happy to announce that I'm working on a new bracket for a Tirumph Tiger 1200 (2022) where the motorcycle has electrical suspention. The current 1200 brackets, as well as other commercial available brackets of GIVI itself, are not compatible with the clearance of the toolbox and electrical suspention cartridge on the edge of the subframe.

I'm designing a braket that is parallel with the electrical cartridge and has enough clearance for the rear wheel.

Below are the first prototypes, but I'm moving the mounting holes more up and to the right to be able to see the text unobstructed.

After a visit and testing the first prototype in Germany, I have come up with a new version:

Update: March 15 - Test fit update

Second test version send to be tested. Let's see how it looks when it's received and fitted....

Tiger 1200 givi toolbox s250 test bracket 2.

Update: March 21 - Test fit update

Wooden test piece has been test-fitted and looks great! Time for making them in metal!

Update: March 29 - Schedule update

Production option by a company came out too excpensive and we return to the original option to waterjet-cut at a University. Because of availability the date to cut is for now 11th of April. Laser engraving the next day with possible shipping the 12th or 13th of April.

Update: April 11th - Waterjet cutting

New brackets in process!! Yeah!

Update: April 12th - Finishing the first batch of brackets

First batch of shipments done! Need to process all new brackets to make them ready for shipment for new orders.

Update: April 17th - First look of an installed bracket

First batch of shipments have been received with positive feedback! See below some pictures of the new model fitted on a Triumph Tiger 1200.

Update: April 28th - I made a mistake but I'll design something new!

I made a mistake... Turns out the holder I designed a bracket for, is a NON genuine Triumph (aftermarket GIVI rack). This one has more room at the back so the Toolbox can be placed more to the upper right corner.

Compared to the Genuine case rack, the mounting tube of the rack is less forgiving in the room.

Thank you GIVI and Triumph for making 2 different versions...

See below for some more explaination of the different versions.

I'm checking with a customer which has a Genuine rack to see if I can design a new bracket that will be the right one. My Apologies for the inconvinience caused by my lack of focus to check the differences between aftermarket and Genuine Triumph racks.

Aluminum mounting plate/bracket for a Givi S250 toolbox customized to a Triumph Tiger 1200.

The mounting plate fits onto a Givi Outback Trekker case rack system or for the original Triumph Aluminium pannier (Outback Trekker style).

Out of stock? Send me an Email if you request one and I'll make another batch of brackets.

Hi James, Glad to hear!
I am working on a new version. It is possible to make a pre-order by purchasing it already. The more brackets ordered the faster I can make/order a batch of brackets.
Cheers,
